I see posted in the photo ads is a "late model" 930 CK with what looks like a wider operator platform and mounting steps. It looks pretty cool! Does anyone have any more info on this, was it homemade, if it wasnt, was it available on the 1030's? Please let me know. I have 1030 parts book and it doesnt show anything like this. Thanks!! Brian

We have a 1030 over at the other farm with them style of steps on it. All of the extra steel is diamond plate on it. I am just wondering if a company made aftermarket steps for these. They sure are nice for the old guys to get on and off them. For all the cabs I seen on the 30 series none used a base like this. We modified a set of steps off a old model E gleaner to our 930 this spring. My grand dad runs it and needed to get on it easier. It worked out great the steps run up along side the engine and has a nice platform at the top.

I saw a Gas 930CK with the same platform. It was In central NY, At the Goodrich yard.

I didnt like the looks of it much. In fact it didnt look factory to me at all.

My guess is that it had a cab on it and when he removed it he left the base.
