Can somebody help me with a little advice?
My late model 730 has a cluth pedal that sticks on occasion. It works fine for an hour of mowing then acts up for no apparent reason, then comes out of it again. I can push it in fine, but upon release, it will just stay on the floor and won't come back up unless I jab the pedal a few times. You never know when it will happen although, its usually after the tractor is warmed up good and the internals are hot. It doesn't seem to happen when it's cold out of the shed. There are no linkages binding on the outside, so it must be internal. My late model 830 does the same thing. Any thoughts?

I have a 730ck that did that years ago and turned out to be as stated in another post, the pivot of the pedal. We thought we had clutch trouble until we unhooked the linkage. Normally only needs a good cleaning and greasing. We took ours off and drilled it and put a grease fitting on and has solved the problem since. Good Luck Bill

The clutch pedal pivots on a needle bearing. Could it be dry and binding acting like a sprag instead of returning. May need to remove and check.
