Called the CASE dealer today to order the switch that controls the Power Shift on the 2094. The switch in the console that is controlled by the Power Shift shifter lever. The little switch that fits in the palm of your hand. $596.81!! Crazy!!! Didn't order it.

Case is not alone,My heart is Case but in business i sell more Deere. I USE to get a seal from Deere so my customers could rebuild ther rollers and Idlers I sold them for $14. paid 10% less because i bought many of them. Went to reorder stock Now they are $140.!!! A little seal thought it was a type O had my dealer write them and got a lettle back telling me that antique industrial and construct equipment was hard to get and expensive!! Well i"m working on getting them made in China and another exsample of US greed and less jobs for US workers.

Know how you feel. Just replaced the little switch under my thumb on a 2388 combine. The swith raises the header when you push it. Just a little plastic and a few wires. $97.17

John,
You have to keep in mind that the Case company you and I knew disappeared about 3 or 4 mergers/takeovers ago. It is now all about $$$$ and your old parts are a BURDEN to corporate management. That is why you will pay through the nose and it is going to get much worse. Don

Your right! Totally out of line on the prices!!!But to make things worse is the counter help. If its not a new generation Case/IH,they dont even want to help you! Its not like the OLd Days when the guy at the counter knew what he was talking about. He worked on the Case DC SC or the IH M or H long enough to know what each part does , where its located, and what its called! If you wasnt sure then he would turn the parts book around so you could see the picture! Try that today!! Seems to me all they can say is"NO LONGER AVALIABLE"And how many youg kids are behind the counter? Heck, my tractors are older than they are! Think about it! Just my 2 cents worth!

I have to put in a word for our local parts man at Violet Implement in New Hampshire, Ohio. Greg is not an old timer, but he has worked with the paper catalogs and now the computers. Greg was helpful in getting some parts for my LA when I rebuilt the engine. If a part was no longer available, he was able to search the computer network and find someone who had one. I have referred others to Greg and he was more than happy to help them. This is a very conscientious man and his primary goal is to help his employer and the customer.

Kudos to Greg... Gene

Case parts prices are out-of-line. I needed 4 "sleeve bearings" for the eagle hitch on my 400. Case wanted $105.64 for the 4 sleeves... I purchased them from ASB Bearings for $14.89 total.
