Hyd pump seams to be sucking air! I changed filter and oil also cleaned suction screen by drain plug. Checked pressure at remotes,2000psi.Is there a problem with the pump?

Why do you think it is sucking air? If it was I'd think the pressure would be 0. I have a red tractor that you can hear a sucking sound all the time it is running. Is your oil good once had water in mine and it lowered the pressure.

I changed the oil. The reason I think it is sucking air is because I have a hyd. leak and the oil comes out bubbley. The pump seams to be surging or cant get enough oil. The loader works fine when cold but the longer the tractor runs the worst the problem gets. Thanks for replys!

Gordon Chance told me to move the return on my D-19 and it WORKED!! I have been fighting this for over 6 years. The return surges air into the sump. There is a plug in the housing above the existing return. I just ran a hose from the line to the housing.
