I have a D15 seriesII deisel that quit after about 25 hours after the injectors and injector pump were rebuilt. when it quit I bled the lines and restarted. it ran for about 20 minutes then quit again. I rebled and it ran for 5 minutes and quit, then woulnt start for anything. I took the pumpback to the rebuilder and he couldnt find anything wrong. I reinstalled it and it stated and ran for about 15 minutes then quit. I went through this until the rebuilder told me not to come back. thats where I sit now. I'v been told it has to be sucking air, but I went over that a couple of times but to no avail. It wont do anything now whatever I do. Any ideas?

I'm thinking that is a Roosa Master pump, and, if so, it WILL act like that if the return line from the top cover of the pump, ultimately back to the fuel tank is clogged.

BE SAFE... remove the return line from the pump, and set up a safe way to catch the fuel coming out of the pump AND the return line.

Start it up. If it continues to run, you have found the problem, and will need to get the return system cleaned out.

remove the shutoff in the sediment bowl and check the stream. our 185 had a piece in the valve restricting the flow. Don"t rule out fuel.

have you blown the lines out with air??? also if theres any rubber or flexible lines in system its possible theyre bad and cracking inside...when they crack internally a flap of rubber will move and create a check valve and shut flow off...once the engine dies the flap folds back up and it flows again...clear flow and discharge lines all the way from tank to pump and back to tank.
