HI. THERE. YOUR INFO. ON CHEVY PISTONS IS GREAT. WHAT SIZE ARE YOU TALKING, AND DO I HAVE TO BORE THE BLOCK? WHAT WILL I GET FOR COMPRESSION ? I UNDERSTAND THERE IS NO NEED GRIND THE CAM IF I AM NOT GOING OVER 2000 R.P.M.S. ANY OTHER IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS AGAIN.

4.125 bore whith pin height of a 427 truck unless you want to go with custom sleaves then you can go to 4.5 bore .most machine shops usually charge about 8 dollars a hole to bore.stroking of the crank is where the real power comes from and thats usually about 900 dollars. i dont run acustom ground cam but will next year.compression should run 195 to 210 with piston and stock cam .

I forfgot to tell you if youre running the ball governor that came on a gleanner youre rpms will run 2200. and the engine stock just freshened up should make about 52 horse power.
