Dear Sir,

I went to an auction today in Ms. and found a Hines rear engine air cooled tractor with a kohler engine. It had not been cranked for some time and was hauled to the auction. High bid was $600, owner wants $1000. From what I see, it is similar to the Allis G tractor, has good rubber, a dandy setup in front for hooking up plows, etc, etc,. I would like to know if these tractors are still manufactured in NC, can I get manuals, and also equip for this tractor. If so, I plan to buy this tractor outright from the owner.

Would appreciate any help you can give me. This is my first time to see this name tractor in Mississippi.

Never heard of Hines. but the garden tractor guys look for info at www.simpletractors.com for info on old Allis and Simplicity tractors.
