I rigged up a two -way valve on my Allis D19. It works, but is very, very slow. It could take 5 minutes or more to raise it high enough to eject. I don't believe this will work for raising the gate on the round baler. It will take to long to eject bales. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution to improve the speed?

D-19 used a high pressure, low volume pump(3500psi and 4 gpm, if I remember right). If I were you, I would rig a high volume, low pressure pump off of the front crankshaft, that way you can have live hydraulics, too.
