15th Annual Old Construction & Mining Equipment Show September 8 & 9, 2018 New Athens, Ohio. 15th Annual Old Construction & Mining Equipment Show will be at the grounds on Ohio 519 (Stumptown Road),... between U.S. 22 and New Athens, Ohio. Just over 1 mile west of New Athens, Ohio. GPS:43672 Stumptown Road, Cadiz, Ohio 43907. THE 15th ANNUAL OLD CONTRUCTION & MINING EQUIPMENT SHOW IS BEING DEDICATED IN THE MEMORY OF DAVE McDONNELL. Antique trucks, construction, and surface mining will be on static display and in operation throughout the weekend. Equipment owned by the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park (HCRHP), members of the HCRHP, members of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the Historical Construction Equipment Association, and other organizations will be displayed or in operation such as draglines, shovels, trucks, crawlers, dozers, and more. Show runs Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday 9am-4pm. Equipment will be in operation around 10am-6pm Saturday and 9am-4pm Sunday. The Silver Spade operators cab and bucket are located on the grounds. Exhibitor Camping Available on Site. All antique trucks, construction, crawler, and mining (surface or underground) equipment are welcome. Machinery, volunteers, and equipment operators have came from Western Pennsylvania, Columbus Ohio area, Northeast and Southeast Ohio over the past years. History displays, book author(s), and more. Some past shows have included commercial displays. Food available on grounds.
