Comment: The annual tractor ride, sponsored by the Covington FFA Alumni, is an experience of traveling through North Tipton County s country roads and small towns at a speed that allows you to really see the countryside. All you need is a tractor that is capable of a 30 mile drive, usually on asphalt roads that can fit in a single traffic lane. Don t let the kids miss out, we will have a hay wagon bringing up the rear that they are sure to enjoy Registration starts at Tennessee Gin around 8:30 AM with coffee and donuts. At 9:00 AM we will have a short talk on the route and safety before heading out. The group travels together around the north end of Covington and around the Historic Covington Court Square before heading to the Garland Community Center where we will break for a rest stop(See map below). The trip ends back at Tennessee Gin around 12:00 PM for a BBQ lunch Lunch tickets will be sold during registration for 12 Person.
