Just got my '52 running with new gauges, batt. cables and battery (6V). This tractor hasn't run in about 30 years. I have not hooked up the lights or any other electric load. It does have an electric start. How do I know if the generator/regulator is working properly. I'm not showing any charge, maybe just a hair discharge (could be the gauge, doesn't really sit right on zero). When I probe the batt., it's at 6.2 volts (it is brand new). Is there a test to check output?
