Well, we had our first frost of the season last night. Not a hard one, but it got the squash leaves. The wifey and I picked the last of the mators last evening and brought them in, about a Bu. I headed for the upper 40 at 9:00 this morning. The uncle was hot on my tail with the MX110 and hydroswing discbine to mow the 22A ield between the woods. The 3rd cut alfalfa wasn't very heavy, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I have several roads in the woods to the right of the field and have drug logs and tops to landings along them. I spent most of the day blocking and splitting, followed by loading one load onto the Chebby wood gitter to bring home. I got about half of the load stacked in my woodshed before beer thirty. I guess the rest will be there tomarrow morning, along with the other load that is laying up in the woods. Loren
