Had this baler for a few years now and we mostly round bale...only square baler we ever owned so not much knowledge...anyway about every 6th bale one side would not tie...very frustrating been messing with it once a year for 3 years...I walk following baler, dad bales...well I noticed that the one side of the string was outside pipe under baler close to needles not in the groove were it looked like it belonged...we cut string, put in groove, tied back together and never looked back. Only misses about one out of 30 or so now...I can live with that...still can't believe that fixed it! Reaver
