Before I bought My 1370 I talked to the original owner he told me the tractor lost the top gear when it was 2 years old and the tractor was updated with the lube line.
The guy/owner acted like it was a design problem for Case that was corrected with a lube line; however I knew better, He ran the thing low on oil.
P.S. I was once told all Cases were junk by a man that kept having trouble with a 1980 model 2590 Case. He would literally tell everyone he spoke too about his junk tractor. One day he was telling his story about Cases being junk and another man was standing to the side grinning. After the guy left the man came over to us and said don’t believe his story. What he’s not telling people is that he broke a hyd hose and continued to disk until he ran the tractor out of oil.
