You find that the wooden bed slats under a mattress are apparently made from leftover Case wood parts crates. In the picture it's a little hard to make out all the numbers and letters, but the last four letters on the far right definitely spell out Case. Last year when rebuilding a barn door we found that part of the door frame was made out of another crate part with Case lettering and numbers. The bed slats were certainly a surprise though. Our family's Case dealership was located at our farm from 1927-1968. They sure didn't let anything go to waste back then!
