OK, I just ran this tractor down the road and there is simply no way I can use it with the clutch like this. You can visually see the entire console area hop. Can anyone possible point out or best describe which bolts to check on the platform for this issue? Everything else on it has been junk so far and I know it was split 2-3 times due to a clutch issue. Supposedly it was "fixed". That must mean it moves.
EDIT: I verified that the cab support brackets to the main housing are tight and main rubber isolator mount bolts are tight(er). Nothing was really stupid loose but not OMG tight either. I am willing to wager this will not fix the problem.
EDIT: I tested the tractor and it might be a touch better but certainly not fixed. If I hold the brakes a bit to load it, it will shake pretty bad. Actually violently if I let it. OTOH, there are times I engage it and it all seems fine. If I let the clutch out faster, it is fine. There seems to be a sweet spot in there. I would think if the flywheel had runout, it would act the same all the time?
One thing I did note is that on the bell housing that connects the engine to trans, several of the smaller bolts were either not tight enough or are stripped. I would think this by itself could cause issues with runout in the clutch. I am curious to hear from experienced Tractor guys if this could cause all this?
