Micro-fiche, a tool of satan for sure. Didn't matter what I needed to find, it would invariably be on the part of the slide that someone stepped on when it got dropped on the floor, making it unreadable. I once bought a parts book off Ebay for my round baler- turned of the guy took pics of the micro-fiche display and printed it off. At least it didn't cost me much!
