Hey Guys. Hows things going. Its been pretty busy around here, just trying to finish up planting corn here in Iowa. They are talking some pretty rough weather on Sunday, Hail, tornadoes, and wind, but hopefully that stuff stays away.
I have been doing a majority of the field work, so dad can swing in and plant. A lot of corn got in the ground this week. Seen nothing but field cultivators and planters in the field and going down the road. A good rain would really slow things down. Its been a busy week for sure. Heres some pics, and yes, I would like to be driving a Case ;) We were using the 2090 to tender the planter!
I wanted to ask some of the people who may collect them and maybe some "special" ones they got while working at a dealer ship or even the factory. I have a master salesman one I picked up at a Antique store. It has a 2294 FWA on it. I probably paid a little more then what it was worth, but I saw it back in December and wanted it bad, but didnt have much money on me. When i went to pick up some tires and swung by and there it was still waiting for a buyer. There was a Case one with a 2870 in the middle and 4 small 24/2670s surrounding it. I also bought a early CaseIH one with a 94 series and a CaseIH combine on it and a 1987 7100 Series Magnum one. Its a amazing the detail put in them!
After making a fertilizer delivery to a Case guy today he had his Case fleet out. He had his 970 hooked up to the sprayer and had this 1370 sitting in the shed. That is the 1370 that sat in a shed for almost 25 years. He said the AC blows ice cold still, I said i sure hope it would, its a new tractor! Ha ha! He has a 770, real nice orignal shape, and a 430 he had restored. I call his road "Case road" because a two mile strech theres 3 guys that run Case, the one guy was FC'ing with his 2470. Got to watch him run that last fall ripping.
Feel free to post some pics of your buckles.

Today's Featured Article - Search For Spares - by Anthony West (UK). Following on from the aquisition of the old Fordson F, I was very much in need of spares. As a novice though I didn't appreciate the fact that there were so many Fordson tractors made, that all the other makes seem rare by comparison. As far as I was aware a fordson was a fordson and it was only through trial an
