Here it is. My 300 RN that I purchased from a Kubota dealer here in Oregon. They spent 3 hrs on it trying to get it running with no success. They said the timing was off. I got it home tonight and pulled the plugs, did a compression test, and pulled the carb. I regapped the brand new spark plugs, they were .035" instead of the book spec of .025". The carb had Silicone for gaskets and teflon tape on a ferruled gas line fitting. I ordered a carb kit for it, but couldn't resist trying to see if it would fire up on some ether. It fired right up for me and sounded good with no blue smoke. The previous owner told me that he had a dealer split the tractor and put a new seal in it because it was going through Hyd. fluid about 7-8 years ago. I am hoping that a carb kit and some tinkering will make it a good useable tractor! Oh, it did come with one original hood side!
