Decided to start the process of fixing my 630
Tear down !!!
I found less then I actually expected. Didn't see and cracks in the head or the block so far. Head gasket doesnt look blown- its like a hour old is all.
Did find 3 loose headbolts and the valve cover stud is welded back together.
#1 sleeve sits a lil low in the block.
It has stains in it and looks cracked, kinda hard to tell tho... The sleeves are gouged all one the left side for some reason. Might be broken rings or misinstalled then it was rebuilt.
Im gonna pull apart the head this week and mag it for cracks. Probably gonna have it pressure tested too. Not sure if the injector cups leak. I did find some water in em, but that might be from me steam cleaning it.
After that Im gonna port the head and do a 3 angle valve job.
Hopefully the block isnt cracked on the bottom......
