This summer I sold my Zetor and bought a Case 1070, a 1974 power shift with about 8100 hours. I'll use it to blow snow at our mountain retreat in the winter and do a little loader work in the summer. We get some serious snow, and the Zetor wasn't cutting the mustard. The 1070 had been neglected for a decade(s?), so I've spent a lot of time cleaning it up, changing fluids, and fixing lots of little things. I've been looking for a forum, and this one is the best!
I would appreciate your advice on a few things left to be done. The first is the transmission temperature gauge. The gauge doesn't work, and I suspect that it's just a broken wire. I can't for the life of me find the sending unit though. Can someone point me in the right direction?
