Having been through to many of these here on the gulf coast, don't forget to get all of the small loose stuff outsiude tied down or put up in the house barn or garage. Childrens toys, swing set seats, lawn furniture, BBQ pits, etc. become missiles in 80-100 mph+ winds. We board up windows in our area to keep limbs, and nature's loose stuff from coming through. Glass will take straight line winds but is very brittle and breaks when solid objects (Pieces of shingles for example) hit them. Respect mother nature, be smart and you will be OK.
