Looking at your pictures, your loader is plumbed into a power beyond type block.
Have you pulled the kidney shaped plate off beside your remote valve(two #3 phillips head screws)? under that you will find 2 aluminum caps that cover the two most troublesome valves in the selectamatic chest. Make sure both move freely in their bores. A tapered wooden dowel works good to pull them out. Make sure you don't loose any of the small parts that live inside the valves.
If one of the above valves is sticky your hydraulic function will be funky to say the least.
Any chance you could take a picture of the tractor and loader together? The 70 is usually seen on a much bigger tractor.
