e uses much more durable (than chevy six) but slightly less powerfull g-226 engine, same as d-17. although, if you look @ the torque curve, the allis 4 has alot more under 2000 rpm. (i've heard something like 300 lb.-ft. @ 850rpm) it also is an almost direct replacement for anything with a 201" or 226" engine. it makes between 50-60 hp, but it has pistons that fall way short of the deck, and compression is easy to come by, and more hp. is easy to come by.
