Plow Man, Yep! Leaking packing seals will cause the settling problem. If they still settle after replacment of the packings, look for other external leaks, then check out the pump and valves. There may be a stuck or leaking relief valve or bad seals in the pump. Pump overhaul kits are still available from AGCO and other places.
