I'm guessing the baler has two way hydraulic cylinders and your WD only has single way hydraulics. Also the WD puts out high pressure 3500+psi, and the baler calls for 3100psi Max I'm betting, therefor get ready for leaky cylinders.
You also better have a bit of weight on the front of that WD or else your going not going to be able to steer. My 851 empty will lift the front tires on my WD if I let out the clutch too quickly, can't imagine it with a 1200+lbs bale in it, or when the rear gate is opened. Also I would also plan on reinforcing the drawbar before you try to bale because mine flexes when bouncing with an empty baler.
Not trying to discourage you but even a "rebored?refitted?" WD isn't going to make a very good bale with that 852. If isn't going to have the power to keep the RPM's up when spinning 1000lbs of hay and at best the bale will be loose and impossible to handle. At worst it is going to plug up when you pull in a slug of hay because the tractor just doesn't have the guts to get the job done.

You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
