We installed one of the military 3500 generator engines in our 220. Not sure what your after here but some information is as follows. There are everything from used takeouts to battle ready rebuilds available. Ours was a B.R. rebuild and as far as I could tell everything that moves was brand new even the crankshaft. There will be lots of parts switching including the front cover which is quite entailed due to the cam gear. We found it easier to purchase a complete gasket set than to buy all the needed gaskets individually. If original appearance means nothing than there will be less switching to do. Everything that is electrical must be changed as the military engine is 24V. You will have to send the pump out and have the governor parts from your original pump installed. The military 3500s have many internal updates such as big wrist pins. Ours was built in 1984 and dynoed at 190 HP. We are very happy with it overall.
