We bought one new. the job it fit the best was swathing or baling. Ours was a red belly with the 4 speed and 3speed auto. the gear ratio's were perfect for most farm jobs. the heads like to warp but a good machinist can fix that, cheaply! we did have to put a clutch in it. had it for 25+yrs until I sold it to settle my dad's estate. I run 7020's now. cheapest horsepower, that is on the market.
