Do you still need info? I have an Allis Chalmers service manual that would cover that and could scan pages to your E-mail(need Address). I think I remember the drive shafts come out of the Differential when you take the final drive off. One summer about 45 years ago my Dad took off to cultivate and tractor would only back up and not go forward. We tore into it in the front yard and before we found the bad bearing somewhere between the transmission and rear end we had all the final drives tore apart and the differential out and replace everything that was bad. I still have that tractor and it needs a bearing again but next time I'll start at the front to get to it. From what I remember about axles the snap rings are the hard part. Allis used the stiffest snap rings in the worst places. Cleddy
