First of all the D17 is a really good tractor, Series IV is sought after. Sitting in the weeds and not running for a couple of years.......well you have to check out the details for yourself, like if water has got into the engine and how much general work it would take to have it running well. I guess in the end it's how much you have to spend before you're done. If possible post some pictures.
