Hello Chalmers people; I spend a bunch of time on the JD board but had a job come my way; D-17 gas, engine oil has coolant in it,coolant did not freeze. First guess would say head gasket but I am not sure if these tractors had any traits of their own. Tractor belongs to my BIL,it is semi retired now but still useful. I worked for him back in the '70s and "the 17" was the tractor on the blower at the silo (75') She never said No, just laid her ears back like a mule and kept at the job. It deserves to stay in the workforce longer. Thanks in advance for any input, Bob
