i loosened the mains and it did not make any difference--checked the clearance -- its at 3 thousands-- so now iam working on the rods-- when i losened them it turned better-- so will start checking clearence one by one-- one rod bolt was double nutted -- yep it was stripped so i need to find one -- better look up the proper tourque-- I will keep you up to date as i go - thanks for the info so far-- Roy
