Back when I worked at an AC dealer in the 70's, I did a lot of service calls on elec. issues. Even then I was unhappy with new points. Especially cut-outs. Couldn't seem to get decent ones. I recently got a D15II and in fixing it up I switched it to neg. ground. The VR was acting up. I couldn't find aftermarket with the same configuration. So I swallowed hard and paid the big $$$$ at Agco. So far so good! Maybe I just got lucky.
