Unless it is warped milling a WC/WD/WD45 head will do nothing because the combustion chamber is not in the head on these engines. You can easily upgrade your WC engine to WD45 specs. by using the half inch longer stroke crankshaft from the 45,manifold and carburator. A common cheap trick is to use the WC OR WD flat top pistons with the WD/45 crankshaft to bump up the compression or using 170/175 crater pistons. If you are changing pistons it make sense to go the over-bored 4.125" inch sleeves and pistons. By installing the 45 crank together with the larger bore, your WC goes from 201 cid to 240 cid. Of course you also want to use a governor spring from a D-17, 170, or 175 to get more RPMs from your engine. Good Luck! Kip
