If you will be running corn through your machine, you will need the metal finger guides for the feeder beater as I have been told the plastic one's don't hold up very well. The plastic one's will work fine for the header. Fingers and guides I believe are still available through AGCO. Might find them cheaper through TISCO or A&E. Google them and you will probably find several sources. I also believe that the finger and guide sizes are different between header and feeder beater. You will have to count the openings on feeder beater and header to know how many you need as I don't have my book in the house. You may not need the fingers on header but will definitly need them on feeder beater.Hope this helps.
