Tractor FD4 and ED40 are very similar for the power, but engine are different FD" have an Perkins engine and FD40 have an Standard23C Ricardo Engine ( same engine than Massey Ferguson 835) It is strange and doesn"t make any sens but the the frame of the tractor is also different, but i don"t now for the other parts. For the history the first FD4 have an Vendeuvre Engine. The FD4 have been produced approximatively from 1960 to 1965 like the FD5 and there is also FD3 the last one is more commun
