I have heard I can "stuff" new felt grease retainer material into the channel both above and below on the rear main seal without taking the crankshaft down and make it work. Can anyone support this idea??? Who ever said it was fun to tear down a tractor the first time but is agravating the second time, but a _____ the third time was sure right!!!! I finally got it fired up and found the bad leak. Need a rebuilt water pump. Seems all my sources are out of cores. So I sent them my spare tractor pump. Had new bushings and all to rebuild the old one on the '39 myself but noway is that thing coming apart. I will have a lot of parts from a '38 WC when I get finished, including fenders. Thanks
