Got my oats/alfalfa drilled today. Had a few wetspots, but walked right across them with duals. Worked the field wet - had plowed early last month, but weather and illness held me back. Spent the last two days just picking rocks. Was cold and tired last nite! Soil was chunky, grainy from working it wet, but planted up nice. Will have to crumble down with mother nature over the summer. Just hope I get a respectable crop and seeding. At $195 for 50# OF "cheap" alfalfa seed, it'd better be good!
