Guys,
I have a 2007 Classic 2500 Chevy. It came with the nice "camper style" mirrors, electric, heated, with turn signal. In the last two weeks, I managed to break both of them! Cheapest I have found is $300 each for aftermarket! No local junkyards can find them. So I happened to be in an un-named discount auto place, and there on the clearance rack were two mirrors, the plain style, for $12 each. I decided for the savings I could do without the frills, but I'd miss the concave mirror at the bottom. Anyway, no wonder they were cheap, the glass shakes so bad at speed you cant see anything behind you. I was thinking of putting some spray-foam behind them in the crack to hold them still. Can anybody recommend a good junkyard or quality discount aftermarket supplier for the originals?
