I never heard of Scrapple, but have probably ate it as a kid.
Sometimes things can taste pretty good if you don't know what's in it.
Growing up in the 50's & 60's, I loved potted meat sandwiches until someone pointed out the ingredients on the can. I still ate it but wasn't near as fond of it.
Just a few that I remember was beef lips, tongue, tail, pork snouts, ears, chicken feet, combs.
Back then each item was shown in the ingredients but now-a-days all they say are beef, pork, chicken.
