When I was an out-of-town route salesman/ delivery driver for the parts department of one of the larger GM dealers in the area a few years back, my boss put a CB radio in the parts truck...then told me, "Any tickets of ANY kind that you get in a company vehicle are YOUR responsibility, not mine." I got ONE speeding ticket because I wasn't paying attention, I paid it, and it never happened again.
It wasn't my boss' fault if I had my mind on something else [like making my next stop before they closed]...it was mine. So while the ticket might get SENT to the boss, the employee still should be the one who pays, and whose drivers license gets dinged for the "points."
