I concede that there are circumstances that are definitely beyond your control. The lights I am talking about are in a 50km/h zone (30mph) in a residential area. They are very predictable lights. Trouble is, many trucks I see are going more than 30mph (I have followed some of them) which makes it more difficult. Many of the offenders are the ones that drive exclusively in town, making the same route maybe a dozen or more times a day. These are the same idiots that pull right up my bumper if I choose to do the speed limit. If I have to make an emergency stop I know I'll get run over. This only says to me that the driver of the rig is NOT in control of his/her vehicle! The lights are probably a big hassle for them.......one of these days someone is going to nose out and get clipped, I can see it happening.
There are no true accidents, these collisions are caused by carelessness and by people who are in a hurry.
