Im all set .The ground wire wasnt even hooked to the outlet.I just kinda panicked cause I asked the inspector what would be the worst case senario and he said Open Ground can cause the most problems as far as what the tester tells you.Not only was this the last outlet in the whole house I checked, but a few years ago we used this outlet in a closet with an extension cord.I never liked using it as I was always moving stuff away from the cord when junk piled up in the closet.Wouldnt you no it this outlet wasnt even grounded.I guess thats why these tests that we think foolish sometimes are there for a reason. Oh by the way I dont need railings on the back deck I was talking about earlier. The code is 30",highest point is 28",Whew thats a relief.
Thanks for all your help. Im sure I will have more questions down the road as this house sale begins.
