I'd figure out the dimensions of the chain you need for your tractor. Measure perpendicularly across the top of your tire from a point 3" or 4" below the lug to a point on the other side at the same distance below the lug. This will give you the length of the cross-chain. Then measure across the face of the tire from the same point as above to the same point on the opposite side. This will give you the diameter of the cicle your side-chain will make when installed. Use Pi x D to get the length you need. If the chains you look at are longer than what you need you can cut off the excess or after you hook up the chains you can bolt the end links of the excess to the side chains.
