Any guess as to what the small square market is gonna do? I figure rounds are bound to move up some, with cattle prices being strong, the drought in the South, and corn prices going up. But I don't really roll any hay, maybe a few rolls off one farm if I run out of room for my squares. In 2009 I still did really well, this past year has been murder. Actually had guy offer me $1.25 a bale out of the barn a few weeks ago. I told him I'd use it for mulch before I sold it that cheap. Good thing is I've got about 300 bales to deliver to local doctor($5 a bale and he doesn't touch it) and after that, all I've got left is about 150 bales of decent hay left.
