You brought up a very interesting point- the difference between brewer"s grains, and distillers- DDGS, now from ethanol plants- a more current feedstuff. I went to the guru book that I used at the U of MN, while getting my BS Degree in Animal Science, back in 1971- Morrison"s Feeds and Feeding, and compared values for various feedstuffs. Even back then, it showed different values, for "Pacific Coast states", like where you are in WA, for barley, etc., that was brewed, malted, etc., vs barley values from across the US. Just wondering why the nutrient values would be different from that area of the country? Also, regarding "brewer"s grains", would those grains be rye, and others? And that would affect the subsequent feed value levels of the mash?
