I will be setting a reman engine into my "99 Grand Cherokee this weekend. I"m trying to find out how to set the cam sensor(which goes in place of the distributor). I know to bring #1 cylinder to TDC, and there is an alignment hole in the sensor. But what size pin/drill do I need? Also, which direction do I orient the electrical connector? Seems like rotating the sensor would adjust timing, same as it would with a distributor?
Please correct me if I"m wrong. Sure wish my manual was in, but local auto parts did not have a manual in stock. I"m hoping to get this running before it comes in.
