An operator in our town a few years back had a pile way bigger than your tiny one. Our fire dept. had to go there about twice a week whenever there was a call for smoke to put it out as best we could. At least we didn't have to climb because it was into a hillside at a big gravel pit and the entrance was on the high side. Finally about three one morning I told the chief that we couldn't keep going on this way and we needed to bring in a machine to make it into windrows. So the town brought in a machine and put the charges against the owners taxes. They've been selling screened loam out of there for over ten years now.
