The mower made for the Cub cut a 5ft swath Your bets mower for mowing hay wouls be the side mount model you are going to drive some distence to find one then repair with ledger plates sharp sickle and so forth. Use a bigger tractor and get a pull behind. The Cub only has 9HP so dont expect to pull a large sickle model. Mowing a 5ft swath can take a long time. Whet kind of hay do you have remember those old mowers wont cut too dense of a stand.
