I have a 2005 Chevy C4500 that every once in a while when coming to a stop the brake alarm will go off. It flashes and chimes and after about a minute it will go off on its own or if you shut the truck off and restart it, it will stop. I have checked the brake fluid and while the front reservoir was a bit low at first I did top it off and it has not stopped the alarm from going off. I have tried to make the alarm sound in the yard without any luck. It does not happen at every stop either. Anyone got any ideas as to what may be going on. This truck does have ABS but I expected an ABS light or alarm if that was the problem. BTW this truck does pull the tractors around so not totally off topic.
